Hooman De Pars was born in Persia, where his father was one of the most respected vocalists and maestros in Persian traditional music. His father was his biggest musical inspiration; He helped Hooman not only to improve as a musician but also to understand music and its unlimited power.

He entered the beautiful musical world of Gospel while studying in an American boarding school in Bangalore, India. Surrounded by the authentic Indian music, he was inspired to combine different styles of music, mainly the Persian traditional vocal techniques with Gospel music

To expand his knowledge of music, he moved to Europe/Germany where he continued his studies and started working on numerous musical projects as a composer and vocalist.

His interest in various styles of music led him to work with composers and arrangers of different musical backgrounds. His appreciation for Classic, Traditionals, Pop, RnB, Country, Jazz, Blues, Gospel and Modern electronic music has played a significant role in developing his unique music style.

He worked with great musicians, composers, arrangers and sound engineers: D.Dirks (The Scorpions), Tony Hendrik (Haddaway), Jon Caffery (Die Toten Hosen), The Harlem Gospel Singers, Joy Fleming, to name a few.

His love for the classical music and arrangements has inspired him to compose and arrange scores for films and TV-series for the past 6 years.

Recently Hooman has moved to Canada, where he is currently composing the score for his first North American movie “Hitler meets Christ”.

The musical journey goes on…
